The SUFISA consortium organised a workshop on the IFSA conference 2016. The SUFISA Workshop, called‚ Exploring farmers’ conditions, strategies and performances. The interest in this SUFISA-workshop has resulted in 11 papers that are published as proceedings of the conference.

The workshop took place on Wednesday 13th of July at Harper Adams University. The workshop discussed what practices and policies in the agricultural and food sector support the sustainability of farmers in a context of multi-dimensional policy requirements, market imperfections and globalisation from different theoretical perspectives.

The workshop was coordinated by Prof Erik Mathijs, coordinator of SUFISA.
